This is my second year to sponsor the TEP class at Vernon High School. I thoroughly
enjoy working with the high school students and am excited about the upcoming year!
I am starting my twenty-third year of teaching and every year is a new adventure. Along
with the TEP classes, I will also be facilitating the online credit recovery program using
OdysseyWare, and teaching English I Honors.
I am also the Student Council sponsor at VHS.
In my years of teaching, I have taught middle school English, Reading, Journalism,
Yearbook, and Home Economics. I have also taught Web Mastering at the high school.
My husband, Ken, and I have three children. Our oldest son Corey, is a postman in
Olney. Our middle son Cody, attends Midwestern State University and works at
Logan's Steakhouse. They both live in Wichita Falls. Our daughter Jessica, is a junior at
Vernon High School. Ken is the principal at Vernon Middle School.
