- Members of the Vernon High School Student Council will earn points as they participate
in the many activities and endeavors of Student Council.
- Along with participation in the projects adopted by the council, members may also earn
points by attending monthly meetings, volunteering their time to work in the concession
stand, and participating in functions pre-approved or planned by the Student Council
officers.
- It is a member's responsibility to sign in and keep a record of their activities.
- Students who qualify may attend the District XII Student Council Conference as well as
the State Student Council Conference each year.
- Each year's officers will set the criteria for qualification.

2) Student Council members must
maintain acceptable behavior
towards their teachers, sponsors,
administrators, and other students.
3) Student Council members will
follow the VISD Student Code of
Conduct.
4) Student Council members
should not have been assigned to
ISS, DAEP, excessive DETENTIONS,
or have been SUSPENDED.
5) Student Council members will
fulfill all obligations set by the
Student Council officers/sponsors
including projects, workshops, and
related responsibilities.
